Ginny Gives | Dementia Society of America

Ginny Gives Grants

Ginny Gives™, named in honor of Ginny J., a vivacious woman known for her warm ways and never-ending smile, is a set of life-enrichment programs and initiatives of the Dementia Society of America (DSA).

Ginny's journey through her own Dementia, while maintaining an effervescent smile, always inspired her family, caregivers, friends, and even passersby... and the inspiration for the Dementia Society of America itself. See the video here...

The objective of the grant program is to enhance the quality of life for those living with Dementia, their caregivers, and the public at-large, by underwriting events and activities in nursing homes, continuing care residential communities, and elsewhere in the Dementia community, primarily in the following general categories: Music, Art, Dance/Movement and Touch/Sensory Stimulation.

We underwrite these activities solely through the generosity of individual donors and corporate sponsors.

To learn more and/or to participate in the program, please first download and read the grant information (you will need to have Adobe Reader).

For 2019, all Ginny Gives Grant applications must be submitted via the online pre-approval process no later than April 21st, 2019. DSA will notify applicants of approval/non-approval on a rolling basis within approximately 15 days of on-line application receipt.
