Ginny Gives Grants
Ginny Gives™, named in honor of Ginny J., a vivacious woman known for her warm ways and never-ending smile, is a set of life-enrichment programs and initiatives of the Dementia Society of America (DSA).
Ginny's journey through her own Dementia, while maintaining an effervescent smile, always inspired her family, caregivers, friends, and even passersby... and the inspiration for the Dementia Society of America itself. See the video here...
The objective of the grant program is to enhance the quality of life for those living with Dementia, their caregivers, and the public at large by underwriting events and activities in nonprofit organizations within the Dementia community, primarily in the following general categories: Music, Art, Dance/Movement, and Touch/Sensory Stimulation.
We underwrite these activities solely through the generosity of individual donors and corporate sponsors.

For 2023, all Ginny Gives Grant applications must be submitted via the online pre-approval process no later than April 21, 2023. DSA will notify applicants of approval/non-approval on a rolling basis within approximately 30 days of an online application receipt.
Also, for 2023, as was done last year, there will be a year-end virtual celebration. This year's event will be on Tuesday,
December 5, 2023, at 7:00 PM ET. Those grant recipients who completed the grant's requirements will be invited to attend. An additional "special recognition" gift of $500 will be provided only to those organizations that send a representative to the event to present their grant outcome(s) to the DSA Board of Directors and Advisory Council.
