Richard Minuto

A native of Philadelphia, after four years in the Airforce (flying on the B52, the first longrange, sweptwing bomber), a first marriage, two children, and a BA from Temple University, Richard moved to D.C. to work for Emery Worlwide (once one of the leading cargo airlines in the world).

As a Project Manager, he traveled constantly and extensively to the Far East. 20 years later, with a Master in Science degree from Golden Gate University, following a year of HS teaching his favorite subject, History, he followed his lifelong dream and moved to Gaeta, Italy, a small seaport, near Rome on the Tyrrhenian Sea, a favorite resort of the ancient Romans, and until recently, the home of the Flag Ship of the US NavyFleet.

He read, traveled, and made many special friends. His dream lasted ten years. To read more, please click here for the full obituary.
