Gwen B. Kallhauge


Gwen was born on February 1, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois.  Gwen passed on August 21, 2017 at The Garden Place in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Before Gwen retired, she had worked as a secretary for many years. Mrs. Kallhauge was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Kallhauge. Mrs. Kallhauge is survived by a son, Glen (Kathy) of Apex, North Carolina; a daughter, Susan Benner of Wheaton, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Kyle Kallhauge and Raymond Benner. 
A Celebration of Life in honor of Gwen will be held 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Tribella Grill, 1900 Mill Street, Batavia, IL 60510 ( Come to enjoy family and friends while reminiscing about all of the great times we have shared over the years. Banquet style appetizers will be served along with soda, beer and wine.


In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Gwen B Kallhauge's name to the Dementia Society of America.
