Geraldine Yahn


Geraldine M .Yahn , 90 - passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 21, 1927 in Norfolk , Virginia to the late Gerald and Ethel Yahn.

She was preceded in death by her brother Gerald Yahn Jr. and sister Betty Spencer.
Geraldine is survived by her sister Evelyn Warren, her son Jack F. Stephens, daughter Irene Kitchin and grandchildren Nicole Stephens and Jack F. Stephens II , along with numerous extended family.

Geraldine spent  many years as a bookkeeper at Jack’s Launch Service in Virginia Beach until her retirement. She had a lifelong love of birds, especially Cardinals and love the peacefulness of the outdoors.

The family would like to extend our gratitude and  appreciation to the staff of Cedar Manor Assisted Living, Chesapeake Health & Rehabilitation Center and Chesapeake Regional Medical Center for their kind and thoughtful care they provided.

A memorial and celebration of life will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Geraldine Yahn's name to the Dementia Society of America. Please click here to make a memorial donation.
