Francine S. Maclin

Francine S. Maclin, 75, passed peacefully with family at her side on Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore after a lengthy illness.

 

Fran was the daughter of the late Marguerite and Frank Salerno. She grew up in Hawthorne, NJ, graduated from Hawthorne High and attended Douglass College, where she met her husband Thomas W. Maclin while building a float for the homecoming parade. During their 55 years of marriage they moved several times for Tom’s career with DuPont. Her favorite assignment was their 4 years in Frankfurt, Germany, which gave them a base to travel extensively in Europe as well as to Israel and Egypt. After retirement, they made their home in Stone Harbor, NJ, where Fran was an active member of the community and worked part time at Hoy’s 5&10; she enjoyed being part of the Hoy’s team. Please click here for the full obituary.
