In Loving Memory

If you wish to have the Dementia Society of America receive donations "in lieu of flowers," please consider adding the following statement to the obituary:

"In lieu of flowers, please make online gifts in memory of ______, to the Dementia Society of America www.DementiaSociety.org/donate."

Acknowledgments

Family acknowledgments are meaningful and essential.

Being a volunteer-driven nonprofit, our organization does not send family notifications when you donate in memory of or in honor of someone. Instead, we send the donor a beautiful "Thinking of You" card. We also include an envelope/stamp so the donor can easily send it to the appropriate next of kin. There is ample space on the back of the card to write an optional personal message. General donations do not receive a "Thinking of You" card/envelope.

The fastest and most cost-effective way to donate is online. However, we do accept checks or money orders in any amount. Our address is Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901. Here is a link to our check donation form.

Families and Funeral Directors, if you have any donation-related questions, please click here to use our contact form or call 1-800-336-3684 and select option #3. We do our best to respond within 24 - 48 hours.

In addition to an obituary published by the Funeral Director, you may choose to create a memorial page to remember the life of a loved one who battled Dementia.

Dementia Society of America®, in partnership with Ancestry.com®  and their We Remember™ initiative, has established memorials with no fees, and the memorial page will remain online without needing renewal. Together, it's our way to help pay tribute to a life well-lived.

If set up through the link below, the We Remember memorial pages link to our donate page, where family and friends can donate in memory or honor of a loved one. Please see the example below.
